Ag Institute Announces New President, Volunteers at Second Harvest of Central Florida

This year’s annual meeting was held at the Second Harvest of Central Florida in Orlando. Ag Institute communicators came together to volunteer and help the organization during the busy holiday rush.

We also took this time to transition leadership. Amber Maloney (pictured below, left) of Wish Farms was presented with a plaque thanking her for one year of serving as the Ag Institute president and driving the organization forward. Tory Boyd (pictured below, right) of Farm Credit Central Florida was announced as the incoming president for 2018.

Cathleen Raffety of Duda was named secretary of the board, and Lisa Lochridge of Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association is returning as treasurer. We are excited to have a wonderful group of passionate members, and we are looking forward to another successful year.
