In September, The University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Science (UF/IFAS) Center for Public Issues Education (PIE Center) teamed with the Agriculture Communicators of FL to host an exciting Lunch and Learn on the effective use of video in communication.
Participants engaged in the workshop where they learned about the PIE Center’s research on how to utilize the right channel, frame and source when communicating with video. One workshop session included information about the use of Facebook Live, along with best practices in this creative realm.
A hands-on session wrapped up the workshop, when participants could apply their video storytelling skills to shoot quality videos on their smart phones. Participants had the opportunity to use innovative mobile device tools to shoot video and practice interviewing other participants on camera.
You can download the workbook and watch the recordings of the workshop sessions.
If you are interested in learning more about the effective use of video, the workshop sessions were recorded on Facebook Live and archived on the PIE Center’s Facebook page. Videos of the workshops are also linked below.
